The Asian Super Model Contest 2011 was held from 27 August to 6 Semptember in Guangxi and Nanning, China. There are 36 contestants from 10 asian countries (Bashkir, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) to participate the contest. Xin Ray from China was crowned Asian Super Model 2011 on September 6, 2011 in Quangxi, China during the contest.

Leila Lopes has newly crowned Miss Universe 2011. She has landed in New York City, this is the first time she has visited the United States and New York City. After the photo-shoot, Leila Lopes gave the first interview to PIX Morning News on September 19, 2011. When asked about the report of a Argentina’s Newspaper that she had used forged documents to qualify Miss Angola in United Kingdom, Leila Lopes confirmed: “I provided all the required documents!”

Leila Lopes has just been crowned Miss Universe 2011. Leila Lopes is from Angola. Leila Luliana  was born on February 26, 1986, in Benguela, Angola. Lopes is a business management student in Great Britain,where she was crowned Miss Angola UK on October 8, 2010.
